Cancel a Solar Panel Contract

Cancellation is most time-sensitive before equipment is installed, but a signed date alone does not answer the question. The place and method of sale, cancellation notice, project status, financing documents and state law may all affect the available process.

Check every deadline immediately

Read the cancellation notice and signature pages for the exact method, address and deadline. Some transactions may carry statutory cancellation rights, but the length and scope are not universal. A contract may also provide its own cancellation provision. If a deadline may still be open, act promptly and keep proof of delivery.

Separate the contracts
